Fraternity Staff

Phi Kappa Theta’s Executive Offices are located in Carmel, IN just North of Indianapolis, IN. The Executive Offices serve as the central offices for the professional staff and houses the Fraternity’s extensive archival history. The professional staff is responsible for the development and implementation of programs that deliver Phi Kappa Theta’s Mission successfully to its members.

There are more than thirty international fraternity and sorority headquarters located in and around Indianapolis, IN. Indianapolis is also the location for the headquarters of the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors, the Fraternity Executives Association, and the North American Interfraternity Conference. With so many members of the Greek Community headquartered in and around Indianapolis, Phi Kappa Theta has benefited from its strong interfraternal relationships through the networking of ideas and resources with these fraternal partners.

Robert Riggs - Executive Vice President

Robert graduated cum laude in 2002 from from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering Science.  He was initiated into the New York Sigma Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity in the spring of 1999.  Robert joined the professional staff in 2002 and has served as a Leadership Consultant, Director of Chapter Development, and Executive Director before becoming the Executive Vice President in 2007.

Sarah Harris - Director of Operations

Sarah graduated in August 2005 from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. She also spent three years studying accounting at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. Sarah enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, playing and coaching volleyball, and softball. Sarah joined the Fraternity staff in June 2007.

Anita Kerlin - Director of Member Development

Anita graduated in December of 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Bowling Green State University. As a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, Anita traveled as an Educational Leadership Consultant for one year and then served as the Director of Chapter Services for her International Headquarters for an additional three years. Anita volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters and often facilitates programming for other Greek organizations. She loves singing, dancing, theatre, and racing.

Gretchen Stahl - Assistant Director of Member Development

Gretchen graduated in 2004 from Valparaiso University with a degree in Public Relations and continued on to receive her Master’s degree from Minnesota State Mankato in Counseling and Student Personnel in 2007. As a member of Pi Beta Phi she found a passion for greek life and higher education and has served in a variety of roles since then. Most recently she held the position of Career Exploration Coordinator at Minnesota State Mankato and before that worked as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement at Centenary College of Louisiana. In her free time she enjoys baking, dancing, spending time outdoors, and college basketball.

Keith graduated in May of 2006 from IUPUI (Indiana University & Purdue University of Indianapolis) with a B.S. in Communications and Minor in Film. Keith is first and foremost an artist. He enjoys drawing and design. Having him join Phi Kappa Theta for Communications & Marketing helps to engage people in a more creative way. Keith enjoys movies, music, his Jeep, making short films, spending time with his family and friends, and spending time as a volunteer for his Church’s student ministry.

Bill spent his undergraduate days at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. After some time in the Army (fighting for democracy against the communist aggressor), he returned to earn a master’s degree. After teaching at St. Francis College for a time, he returned to IU again for his MBA. Since then, Bill has worked at various places, including Eli Lilly and now Phi Kappa Theta. Ironically, the closest Bill came to joining a Fraternity was when he was invited to a rush function hosted by our IU chapter. He did not attend, but–quite a few years later–ended up working for us anyway. Bill is married and has two children, Emily and Will, and three grandchildren.
