March 19: Phi Kappa Theta Alumni and Friends Luncheon Seton Hall
Date: Friday, March 19th, 2010
As you know from my recent email message, the center is interested in memorabilia that help tell the story of student, collegiate and fraternity life at Seton Hall, including keepsakes from undergraduates and alumni of New Jersey Phi Beta Chapter of Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity and its predecessor local fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma.
Delozier is seeking SHU and PKT mementos that you have accumulated over the years, such as: pledge books; beanies; song books; scrapbooks; photos; recordings; press clips; news releases; pamphlets; banners; posters; paddles; meeting minutes; notes, cards and reports. If you bring your items to the meeting, Alan will be happy to take them back to the center.
Before coming to SHU in 1999, Delozier served as an archival technician for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and College Archivist for Saint Peter’s College and Richard Stockton College. He holds a BA in Mass Communication from Saint Bonaventure University, an MA in History from Villanova and an MLS in Library Science from Rutgers. Since 2005, he has been pursuing a DLitt degree at Drew University.
Since 2006, Delozier has served as Executive Director, New Jersey Catholic Historical Commission. He also is an Advisory Board Member, South Orange Historical Preservation Society, and an Archival Consultant at Bermuda College Library.
Contact: If you plan to attend the luncheon, please notify Nick Scalera, nick @ scalera.com, by no later than March 17th, so we can arrange enough seats for all brothers.
