Our Mission
Phi Kappa Theta actively develops men to be effective leaders who passionately serve society, Fraternity and God.
The establishment of a clear Mission has provided Phi Kappa Theta with a Vision for the future. The Fraternity’s Board of Trustees has defined that Vision through what we identify as End States in each of the five areas of development. These End States describe Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity in the year 2018.

Measuring Our Progress
To measure progress with our Strategic Plan, the Phi Kappa Theta has designed a system that allows members to self-report their activities in areas of development and service. In February of 2009, Phi Kappa Theta launched the Accreditation Program that set expectation levels for collegiate chapters in each of the five areas of development. Each academic year, Phi Kappa Theta will raise the bar for a chapter to be accredited, driving the Fraternity as a whole closer towards its Vision. The accreditation requirements for the current year are listed under each individual development area.
Chapters are evaluated and recognized annually for their excellence in providing development and service opportunities of their members and respective communities. Those chapters receiving exemplary marks in any of the five areas of development are recognized during the annual Awards Banquet at Phi Kappa Theta’s annual summer conference. The chapter receiving the highest scores in all five areas of development is presented with Phi Kappa Theta’s highest honor for a chapter, the Founder’s Cup.
