Fraternal Development
Phi Kappa Theta is a committed journey of lifelong brotherhood. Phi Kappa Theta maintains its relevance through a valuable network of collegiate and alumni members. Phi Kappa Theta challenges its members to accept responsibility for all Brothers, their communities and society.
Accreditation Requirements for the Current Academic Year:
- At least 80% of the membership must attend at least one Fraternal Development program.
- Chapter must host at least one brotherhood activity each month.
- Chapter must hold a Quo Vadis where a three year chapter strategic plan*, based on the five developmental areas of the Fraternity, is created and managed by the members. (outcomes required)
- Chapter must successfully educate its associate members about the history and operations of the Fraternity while cultivating brotherhood and integration into the chapter.
- Chapter must utilize and officer training and transition program.
- Chapter must successfully train members to recruit as well as implement strategies and tactics for chapter growth. (outcomes required)
- Chapters should have strong and positive relationship with local alumni through ongoing communication and by hosting at least one event each year.
*A copy of the chapter’s strategic plan must be submitted to the Fraternity.
