Leadership Development
Phi Kappa Theta actively develops the next generation of business, professional, and civic leaders by providing real world experience. Campus organizations, communities and employers worldwide seek Phi Kappa Theta members because they are ethical, value based, and socially responsible leaders. Phi Kappa Theta leaders are known for their ability to inspire and serve others, take intelligent risks, and learn from their mistakes. Phi Kappa Theta is recognized as society’s leadership incubator.
Accreditation Requirements for the Current Academic Year:
- At least 80% of the membership must attend at least one Leadership Development program.
- At least 80% of the membership must attend at least one professional development program or activity.
- All members should be involved in at least one outside campus activity with at least 25% of those members holding leadership positions.
- At least two delegates must attend Convention and communicate what they learned to the rest of the membership. (learning outcomes required)
- At least two delegates must attend a Regional Conference and communicate what they learned to the rest of the membership. (learning outcomes required)
- At least one delegate should attend Presidents Academy and communicate what they learned to the rest of the membership. (learning outcomes required)
