Social Development
Phi Kappa Theta fosters human development through community service and social interaction. Phi Kappa Theta members are socially engaged, recognizing their responsibility to effect positive change in themselves and others. Phi Kappa Theta’s values are demonstrated through the actions of our members, who better their communities as citizens in a global society.
Accreditation Requirements for the Current Academic Year:
- At least 80% of the membership must attend at least one Social Development program.
- Chapter must implement and train members to understand FIPG and Risk Management policies and procedures.
- Chapter must cultivate relationships with other campus organizations through organized social activities.
- Chapter must be engaged in campus activities such as Greek Week, Homecoming, intramural sports, etc.
- Chapter must host at least one philanthropic activity benefiting Fraternity’s Philanthropic Partner, the Children’s Miracle Network each year.
- Chapter must support community through involvement in other organization’s philanthropic events.
- At least 80% of the chapter must participate in at least two community service activities each year.
